Staying traditional
This section is a compilation of my many artworks - both traditional and digital. Many of these artworks consist of my favourite characters at that point in time, and even portraits of animals and people

"Auggie." This portrait is of this dog called Auggie. Auggie was the dog of my former English teacher, Ms Ho. Ms Ho was one of my favourite teachers. She was kind, funny, and always took the extra effort to ensure we were okay, both academic and mental wise. Right before our End-of-Year Examinations, Ms Ho informed my class that Auggie had passed on suddenly. We all knew just how much Auggie meant to her, yet she still went on with a smile on her face. She made my class her top priority, ensuring all of us scored well before she left. This is when i decided to draw this portrait for her. I admired the way she took control of every day she had, never letting anything get in the way of achieving her goals. She had sacrificed so much for my class, i felt that this was the least i could've done for her. This was the first memorial piece i had done, and completing it had given me a sense of fulfillment and warmth. I felt so accomplished knowing that my artwork was able to leave such an impact on my teacher. Therefore, i wish that my artworks would be able to impact others the way it did with my teacher, and i hope to be able to do so with a wider audience in the future.

Ms Ho's reaction to the artwork

Integrating digital into traditional art This artwork unlike the first one, showcases how I had took my art to a whole other level using digital tools. This scene came from my favourite anime at that time (Attack On Titan). This scene showcased the transformation of the main character, Eren Yeager, into his titan form during one of the battles. I had decided to draw this as I admired the meticulous detail the illustrators had put into this one scene. However, the eye of the character had a green emitting light, which ultimately would have been impossible to do so on paper with my limited resources. Hence, I decided to use the Procreate light brush to mimic the same green hue. Apart from this, I had also used Adobe Lightroom to adjust the lighting of the photo to further place emphasis on the green hue.
Some of my other artworks :)

The artwork depicts two Genshin Impact characters, Venti (left) and Xiao (right), in Japanese school uniforms, which is unusual since they typically wear unique costumes in the game. Inspired by photobooth sessions with friends after school, the sketch aims to capture a 'teenage life' vibe.

This drawing portrays the Genshin Impact character Scaramouche, who was part of the villainous group called the Fatui. I used my hand as a reference to create the impression of Scaramouche 'reaching out' to the viewer, inviting them to join the dark side. The background features an image of a battle site from Genshin, which I enhanced using the Gaussian Blur function for added effect.

Hand sketches, primarily using my hands as reference

These are two sketches I made when I was 14. At that time, the 'Eyes Of Heaven' soundtrack was trending on TikTok, inspiring many users to perform a specific hand movement, which I depicted in my drawing of Xiao from Genshin Impact. I emphasized his eyes by coloring them with alcohol markers. Below that is a drawing of Sukuna's hand, a character from Jujutsu Kaisen. I used my own hand as a reference to highlight the veins and slender structure of Sukuna's hands.
